  Recalling Donna Haraway writing in her book, Living with the trouble, “ It matters what we use to think other matters with; it matters what stories we tell to tell other stories with; it matters what knots knot knots, what thoughts think thoughts, what descriptions describe descriptions, what ties tie ties. It matters what stories make world; what world make stories .”  More than the object, it matters how you describe that object. Because people do not choose between things; they choose between the descriptions of things. To people, the object appears exactly the way you describe it to them. Molding these metaphors to agricultural framework, not only determines who are and can be recognized as important actors in agriculture, but also shapes how these actors are recognized.
